anyone had any experience of

Garbolino Renaissance, 16mtr, (17.5 with ext) rated to 12 laccy,

Preston zyrium 12.5mtr rated to 20 laccy,

just got some in a swap for carpy gear

Mick, Rusty may have something to say on the garbo pole but a bloke in my club used to have one he used it for anything and he had stronger elastic then a 12 in it

ditto that. my mate use to have one of them garby poles and he also used it for every thing with a swim bladder

The Garbolino Renaissance was the 1st purpose made 16m pole, I had one to 19m and could use it at that length, It's very strong and I had elastics to 16 solid in the top kits (hollow was not about then) with no problem, the only fault that I can remember was that it would stick when shipping in the rain.
They were £1500 to buy new and that must be 12 to 15 years ago.
